Join us in creating lasting change for the environment in Florida.

Our Mission: Committed To Save the Waters of Florida and Beyond.

Save The Waters is a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to protecting and preserving our state’s water sources through action and education. We mobilize communities, schools, and businesses to take part in cleanups, hands-on demonstrations, and conservation initiatives. By empowering people of all ages to understand water’s importance and to take responsibility for its care, we aim to ensure clean and healthy waterways for generations to come.

Get Involved

From beaches and rivers to wetlands and springs, Florida waterways fuel tourism, recreation, and daily life. Yet, they face mounting threats: plastic and chemical pollution, stormwater runoff, harmful algal blooms, and a lack of widespread public awareness. Many local communities, especially youth, don’t have access to practical environmental education or opportunities to directly protect the resources they depend on. Without intervention, the health of these ecosystems, and the people and industries they support, will continue to deteriorate.

Save The Waters addresses this gap by blending education with direct action. We bring water science into classrooms, showing students how to filter and protect water themselves. We organize shoreline and waterway cleanups where residents can see the difference they make. And we create community events that raise both funds and awareness. By connecting Floridians to their water sources in tangible, hands-on ways, we cultivate long-term stewardship that goes beyond one-day projects. Clean water isn’t just an environmental issue- it’s a community issue, and the time to act is now.
